Custom Packaging for IT Asset Disposition
Blue Ridge Thermoforming supplies custom trays and clamshells for IT asset disposition, so pulled components stay protected, counted, and lot-sorted. We supply the packaging. Recovery stays with you.
Request a QuoteITAD packaging is the set of trays a decommissioning floor uses between the chassis and the graded inventory. Parts leave a server, land in a pocket, and stay with their lot through test, grade, storage, and resale or recovery.
Blue Ridge Thermoforming does not run an ITAD line, recycle equipment, or buy assets. We thermoform the trays and clamshells your teams use while they do that work.
Packaging for each step you already run
Pull
Server recycling trays at the bench: CPU trays, DIMM trays, drive trays, transceiver trays, and PCIe card trays so each commodity has a home the moment it leaves the chassis.
Test and grade
Clear or black static-dissipative trays let graders see the part. Consistent orientation makes a count auditable. ESD materials protect grade.
Store
Interlocking stacks and lids keep a lot intact on a cart, in a tote, or on a shelf. Trays are reusable and durable for the next wave of equipment.
Resell or recover
Refurbished electronics packaging can be a bulk tray or a single-unit clamshell. E-waste component trays keep sorted material together on the way to recovery. Your team still does the recovery.
Static-control materials
- Static-dissipative, conductive, and anti-static materials matched to the component.
- Clear or black static-dissipative options are available when a lot needs visual inspection, alongside conductive materials for the most sensitive parts.
- ESD-grade PET and rPET and anti-static HIPS.
- Thin-gauge trays are reusable and durable for repeated handling, stacking, and shipment.

From pull to resale, the pack stays with the lot
- Processors on server CPU trays and custom CPU trays
- Memory on DDR5 DIMM trays, SODIMM trays, and memory module trays
- Drives on M.2 SSD trays and hard drive trays
- Optics and cards on transceiver trays and PCIe card trays
What we form, and what we do not do
IT asset recovery packaging fails when parts share a gaylord and lose their identity. A tray with a known count and a known orientation is how a lot stays a lot. That is the packaging we build from your drawing or sample.
Phone, tablet, and laptop inserts are available when those devices are in the same operation. The electronics trays hub lists every component page. ESD and anti-static packaging explains the material families.
Production runs at low or high volume under ISO 9001:2015 quality processes, made in Greenville, SC.
ITAD Packaging FAQs
Do you process or recycle the equipment?
No. Blue Ridge Thermoforming supplies the packaging only. Pulling, testing, grading, resale, and recovery stay with your operation.
Can one program cover every part we pull?
Yes. We quote a tray or clamshell for each component from a sample, and the pages linked on this site are the families we tool.
What are your minimums and lead times?
Depends on part and volume. Send your counts and we'll quote it.
Quote ITAD trays
Send the parts you pull and the counts you want. We will quote the trays for that workflow.
